Our History

In July 2002 Tami J. Recesso, PT, MPT, DPT announced the grand opening of Recesso Physical Therapy, LLC, at that time she was located within the World Gym in Plaistow, NH.  Thanks to our satisfied Physicians, Friends, and Clients we were able to EXPAND into a much larger building in 2006 on Garden Road in Plaistow. 

We continue to improve our clinic to meet the growing needs of our clients. In 2011 we announced the Grand Opening of the Wellness Center at Recesso Physical Therapy offering Massage and other holistic methods.  

In 2018 we opened our second location within Elite Sports Club Methuen Mass (formerly Latitudes Sports Club) which closed in 2020 due to covid gym & pool restrictions.

In 2020 We celebrated the grand opening of Recesso PT Newburyport location & offer quality PT and wellness services at 143 State St. consisting of Manual Physical Therapy, Spine Specialization, Pelvic Health PT, Massage, & Psychotherapy.
